With registration for Team Dance 2025 around the corner, it’s time to look back at some of our top moments from Team Dance 2024! Choosing only 10 of our favorite moments from the past season has got to be one of the hardest parts of this job.

10. I Believe I Can Fly, I Believe I Can Touch The Sky

It’s not easy to be lifted up in the air, and even more difficult to confidently hold your pose. We love her sweet smile, her beautiful toes, and the strength her teammates show lifting her up. These girls know what it means to be a great teammate. We’re in awe and we’d like to be lifted up next please but we don’t promise to demonstrate that same amount of grace.

9. It’s Hip To Be Square

Some of the best facials from the season all captured in one picture! Their faces are like a mix of winning the lottery and finding out it’s a snow day all at once. It’s like they’ve discovered the secret to eternal happiness and it involves a whole lot of dancing. And then there’s the nerd stereotype – forget pocket protectors and taped glasses, these dancers are proving that nerds can be as cool as a cucumber in a bowl of hot sauce. If we had known sooner that being a nerd could be so much fun we would have studied harder in school!

8. And When You Get The Choice To Sit It Out Or Dance, I Hope You Dance

We are captivated by the sheer strength emanating from this move. The hold these two have over the audience, commanding attention and evoking emotions, is nothing short of mesmerizing. In this moment, all the elements come together in perfect harmony, creating a breathtaking spectacle that resonates with our souls. We never wanted this dance to end.

7. We’re the Mario Brothers and Plumbin’s Our Game

Let’s start with just the costumes which are so perfectly done. We’d like to know what they used to attach their mustaches and if they tickled. However, the perfect costume isn’t enough to bring a character to life. It also takes the right choreography and dancers giving the right personality. These girls did a fantastic job capturing the essence of the Mario Bros and we think Mario and Luigi would be proud.

6. You Can Count On Me Like One, Two, Three

When it comes to capturing the essence of a dance through a single picture, the challenge lies in encapsulating the dynamic and fluid nature of movement within a static image. However, the dancers in this particular performance managed to transcend this limitation by skillfully utilizing not only their physical motions but also their facial expressions to convey a profound depth of emotion. Each gesture, each expression, was meticulously crafted to communicate a story of beauty and grace, drawing the viewer into a world where words are unnecessary and emotions speak volumes. Through their synchronized movements and emotive faces, the dancers painted a vivid portrait of passion, joy, or sorrow, evoking a range of feelings that resonate with the audience long after the performance has ended.

5. I’m So Excited and I Just Can’t Hide It

These girls are radiating so much excitement it’s like they’re trying to break through the screen and give us a high-five! We can’t help but grin from ear to ear just watching them. They’re all rocking those dance moves with such joy that we’re already practicing our own routine to join them on stage next time.

4. Lean On Me When You’re Not Strong

This moment stands out for how well each of the dancers is staying in the moment and staying connected with one another. When individuals leverage their unique strengths, a harmonious synergy forms, transcending individual efforts. When support, grace, and teamwork converge, they create a visually stunning and emotionally resonant moment of shared triumph, showcasing the power of collaboration and mutual support.

3. You Should See Me In a Crown

The confidence exuding from this tiny dancer is truly awe-inspiring and unforgettable. As she stands there, she radiates a regal aura, commanding attention and admiration from all around. Her teammates, like devoted courtiers, enhance the scene with their unwavering support and dedication, adding to the grandeur of the moment. It’s as if she is a queen holding court, with her loyal subjects by her side, ready to follow her lead unquestioningly. We are all captivated by her presence and grace, willingly bowing down to pay homage to this absolute queen of the moment.

2. I Just Wanna Fly

Anyone who has taken a group jumping picture knows how difficult it is to get everyone in the picture off the ground at the same time. “Are we jumping on 3 or jumping on GO???” These dancers not only nailed the timing, they’re hitting a unique and awesome pose with some gorgeous feet and legs. The tilt of their heads is the piece de resistance, sealing this picture’s spot as one of the top ten moments from 2025.

1. Yeah I’m Free… Free Falling

We don’t know how she got into the air or what exactly her landing will look like, but that’s what we love most about this picture. This moment seems to truly capture the raw energy of falling through space, before the comforting arms of your teammates are there to catch you. We are so impressed with the height this dancer achieved and proud of her team who look determined and capable of catching her and continuing their dance. Whatever catapult she took a ride on, we’d call dibs on being next!
